In 2019 we downsized to bantam cochins for a fun project. We enjoy their unique colors and friendly little personalities.

About Bantam Cochin Chickens:
Chicks are available periodically throughout the spring and summer for $6 each, straight run. All chicks are guaranteed healthy for 48hrs after pickup. Adults and juveniles are available occasionally and priced according to sex, age, and quality.

- Reasonably cold hardy (combs can frostbite easily if kept in damp or drafty winter housing)
- Readily broody
- Excellent mothers
- Average layers of small-medium, cream-colored eggs
- We have calico/mille fleur and blue calico/mille fleur colors, as well as frizzle feather genetics in our flock
- Correct mille fleur feather color is a brown base, black chevron and white tip throughout the body
- Calico is a nickname used for mille fleur birds with excessive white - while not an official color variety, the birds are striking
